PMA2020 uses innovative mobile technology to support low-cost, rapid-turnaround surveys to monitor key health and development indicators on an annual basis. The program is implemented by local universities and research organizations in 11 countries, deploying a cadre of female resident data collectors trained in mobile data collection.

Current Survey Progress: 

Burkina Faso​: 4 rounds of core data collection completed; 1 round of nutrition data collection completed.​

Côte d'Ivoire: 1 round of core data collection completed.

DRC: 6 rounds of core data collection completed (6 in Kinshasa, 3 in neighboring province Kongo Central). 

Ethiopia: 5 rounds of core data collection completed; 1 round of maternal and newborn health data collection completed. 

Ghana: 6 rounds of core data collection completed; 2 rounds of primary health care data collection completed.

India: 3 rounds of core data collection in Rajasthan State completed.

Indonesia: 2 rounds of core data collection completed in South Sulawesi Province, Makassar District, and for nationally representative estimates. 

Kenya: 5 rounds of core data collection completed; 1 round of nutrition data collection completed. 

Niger: 4 rounds of core data collection completed (4 rounds in Niamey, 2 rounds of data collection outside Niamey for nationally representative estimates)​. 

Nigeria: 4 rounds of core data collection completed in Lagos and Kaduna states, 2 rounds of core data collection completed in Anambra, Kano, Nasarawa, Rivers, Taraba states.

Uganda: 5 rounds of core data collection completed; 1 round of schistosomiasis data collection completed.
