Availability and Use of Subcutaneous Injectables > A brief highlighting the trends in use of the subcutaneous injectable (DMPA-SC or Sayana Press®) captured by PMA2020 surveys. PMA2020 is the first population-based survey to collect nationally representative data on the uptake of this innovative contraceptive injectable.

Sampling Error for Contraceptive Use and Unmet Need: This table provides percentages for total contraceptive prevalence (CPR), modern contraceptive prevalence (mCPR) and unmet need including standard errors and 95% confidence intervals for all women and married women age 15 to 49 years from all PMA2020 surveys.
